Separated by days (in total of 37 days)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day 1
That morning, we woke up at 4 a.m and headed to the the airport. First flight, from Toronto to New York. It was a 2hrs flight. After, we transferred to the next flight, 15hrs to Shanghai.

Day 2
On the plane, each of the passengers have a mini T.V/computer in front of their seat where they can watch movies, play games, listen to musics, and TALK ON THE PHONE with the remote (but you need a phone card in order to phone). I listened to my own music to whole time cuz the mini computer = have nothing that interests me, except the page where they show the plane's states. My bro and I didn't even sleep for a bit cuz it's just impossible for us to sleep in a plane. Between the hours of 6 to 9, the plane was flying over the North Pole. The temperature in the plane started to decrease and everyone was getting a cold. My brother got a clod from it, luckily, I sat in the middle seat. We also saw the sun rise over the North pole. Finally, we got to Shanghai! When I came out, I can't even walk properly, think about it, 15hrs on the plane without moving. We were going to buy the plane ticket to Fuzhou, our home city, but the seats were mostly full and it was extremely expensive. So we decided to stay in Shanghai for an night and move the next day. On our way to the hotel, we were on the bus for 3 hrs with no sitting and crowded people. We took a shower, went out for dinner, and slept.

Day 3
On the next day, we woke up at 3 o'clock in the morning, and went out. We bought our plane tickets and decided to explore Shanghai. We went to "东方明珠", The Oriental Pearl Tower, it is 468m high, it has three balls, one of them's floor and wall is made out of glass, so you will feel like you're gonna fall down or something, but it didn't get me cuz I am not scared of that kind of stuff. To get up to the balls, you need to go on the elevator. The elevator is 7m per a second. You have to keep swallow saliva, or else you would feel a pressure in your ear and you won't be able to hear after (until after a long time), and this goes the same to the plane when it's landing. We went to other places as well but it was foggy outside so we didn't really enjoyed it. Overall, we spent about $3500 in Shanghai(taxis, the ticket for going up the Oriental Pearl Tower, plane tickets, etc.) In the evening we departed and land at our destination at 11:00 p.m.

Day 4
After a long, long deep sleep, the first thing we did was to the supermarket (well of course I had to wash myself, eat and that before I go out) The supermarket was HUGE, it's like bigger than Walmart. When you see the goods' price you might think that it's expensive, but they're actually really cheap compared to CAN, for every dollar in China, you have to divide it by 6 to change it into CAN. So if a large ice cream cost 1.5 yen (it's TRUE!), it would be 25 cents in CAN, ISN'T THAT CHEAP!!!!

Day 5
We went to a new place that was build few years ago, it's called "长山湖", I am not sure what it is in Eng, but I guess you can call it "Long Mountain Lake". This place is like a famous place in Fuzhou, it's a place where most politicians work, and where the famous Walmart is (yes we have Walmart in China now). But like I said, even though it's Walmart, it's actually really different from Canada's, it has A LOT varieties of things that we don't even see on the market in Canada.

Day 6
The weather was warm. We went to the park that we used to play when we were small. "南山公园", Southern Mountain park. The park have developed much better that we'd thought of. We walked all the way up to the top of the mountain (about an hour to get up there), The view was extremely* beautiful, we played with the exercise section at the top, and went to look at the first swimming pool built in our area. Trust me, the swimming pool was wayyyyyyy huger than we have in Canada, it feels like that you're in ...an Olympic swimming pool. We didn't swim cuz was not summer yet. We mostly spent our day up there.

Day 7
We stayed at home the whole day cuz it was raining hard outside.

Day 8
FREEZING!! for some reason, the rain did not stop from yesterday's and temperature starts to drop rapidly. The lowest was 3 degrees and the highest was 5 degrees. Then we noticed that we didn't have enough clothing to keep us warm (no heater in China unless you go and buy these little heater thing that you use to carry with you). So we went out, with my aunt and umbrellas in our hands to buy clothes. We spent almost a full day out there.

Day 9
The weather turned worse today. Each of us wore like 5 layers of clothes, we had to close all the windows and doors. We didn't do a thing, but we did manage to do some of our HWs that were assigned from school. We were also trying to get our laptop working becuz the plug doesn't match the outlet in China, and Internet was one of problems. At the end we didn't manage to use our laptop.

Day 10
FINALLY! The rain has stopped, but the freezingness was still there. We went to our old house that we haven't visit for 4 years, it is located at a old town, just like downtown. There, we found a lot of problems. The water pipes were not working becuz something's blocking the pathway, and some of the rooms are starting collapse and so as the roof on the top. I felt like crying when I see this becuz this is the place where I use to grow up, and the place turned into... THIS! We decided to fix it.

Day 11
The temperature was the same as yesterday's, cold. We went to the Southern Mountain park again for morning exercising.
